Great article and well written! Question to the author: Is Oak Cliff becoming the next big place for modern residential architecture? Personally, I think people like myself who prefer to live in a more urban setting (Downtown, Up-Town, Oak Cliff) prefer modern home architecture as a counter trend (even a revulsion) to the mediocrity, "brown to the horizon", mind numbing faux traditional homes of the outlying suburbs!

I really liked your input on how the tables are turning for traditional vs modern home buying -- it definitely has to be true.

Those pictures are so inspiring! Unlike Highland Park, there are not a lot of modern homes where I live, so finding out that there are areas like that is really interesting.
