I really like this house, it has an ultra modern feel at the same time as being very cosy and ‘old’ feeling.

O’Neil Ford’s design reminds me of some of the innovative architects in Phoenix such as Al Beadle. Thanks for the architectual history! I’ll be moving to Dallas next week and look forward to acturally seeing these homes.

That’s a seriously beautiful home! I love the photographs, especially of the exterior; the landscaping complements the home quite well in my humble opinion.

Years ago, David Dillon inscribed on my copy of the book he authored on O’Neil Ford “To Doug – Who has understood O’Neil’s work from the beginning and is one of the people who help keep his ideals alive.” This blog article is dedicated to late architecture critic David Dillon who spread the architectural ideals of O’Neil Ford and who as an author and critic had a profound impact on Dallas.

Great Post! Nice Photography of the Frank Welch Designed Residence. John Hardy gave Paul and I a tour of this home and when the adjacent pool house was under construction. Beautiful craftsmanship!
